I wanted to do a project that was about sports. Not just sports but Pressure and struggle of sports. Especially in High school because it resonates with me as I am similar age as all of the people i photographed. I wanted to show this by capturing candid emotion. I also wanted to commicaate this through framing and balance and tight cropping.
My favorite one is titled 2.jpg It is a triple exposure. Use of double exposures can show the struggle and pressure especially with the use of black and white which makes it very dramatic. Also I like the contrast and sweat on his forehead which can add the illusion of struggle. I also liked how he is looking to the left and into the negative space.
