Makenna Works in Progress
I learned from the visiting artist, Paul Sepuya, how to implement the use of fabric, abscence and different materials into my work with mirrors. I have been working with different mediums to try to represent absence and the feeling of being an outsider. I would like to bring this concept, along with the idea of smudges and hidden representation into my final project. I am planning on making my final project about the absence and loss of a person. I want to develop this idea into how it affects a person and their surroundings, along with the items and places they leave behind. One thing I would especially like help on is different ways I can represent loss, as I feel I will run out of ideas. Thank you for your help!
