Feliciano_Voyages
In my project, I explored themes of life, time, burden, weight, dread, and tranquility. I tried to accentuate and communicate these ideas through deliberate photography of people of different ages, trying to express a continuity between me and my father and grandfather,. I attempted to capture things of antiquity, mementos of a time that has long passed, making sure that I not only subtly communicate their connection to my father and grandfather, but so they also evoked a feeling of nostalgia in the viewer. I focused on naturally framing most of my images, deliberately leaving some out of the post-production process to capture the raw feeling of being in a certain space, trying not to distract from the careful depiction of different settings and the feelings they may induce.
